Paint results!

Okay here's the shower all gussied up and white now. It's a huge shower. I think we have the biggest shower in all of France. It smells like paint in there but since it's pretty much outdoors I don't think those fumes will linger too long. I don't have a before picture handy. It was truly terrible before, trust me, but now hey it's not too, too shabby. I've actually showered two days in a row! Oh my god what next....daily armpit shaving!?

...and okay here's the peeling vinyl that Seb started taking down a few months ago. Ever try to reglue 30 year old vinyl to a concrete wall with Super Glue? It doesn't work. It will only frustrate you and cause you to scream "why is this sh*t sticking to my f*cking fingers and not to the wall!" And then you will turn to see your cat who has stopped washing and is looking at you like, "what's HER problem?"

I think you shower is the biggest in France ! About the size of my whole bathroom. Don't you just hate that glue for that and it really hurts to get it off your fingers too !

By the way I was scrolling throught the 10 million comments on Dooce's site and guess who's name popped out ???? Yes yours !

I was so excited that I got to leave her a comment that I couldn't type fast enough. It's a great topic that's been floating around the internet because of this Hirshman woman so I was happy about that too.

I can't believe how many comments Dooce gets in one day. It's incredible isn't it!

Love the new pic of the shower. I must admit I am jealous! You should have seen our old piece of crap shower back in Grenoble. Not only was it small, but no matter how many poles we put up for the shower curtain, they all ended up breaking!
