Back to the routine

The family has left and while I'm happy to rediscover my routine, including blogging and using the toilet in complete privacy, there is something nice about having someone say "do you mind if I take your screaming child to the park for three hours and buy him ice-cream and let him ride on the merry-go-round?" That part was kind of nice.

Seb had to leave for Lyon this afternoon instead of his usual Monday morning, which was kind of a drag. We were both sad all morning and we felt like we couldn't say "why" in front of the parents because we knew they'd feel guilty. For some reason they decided to leave on a Sunday. Oops.

Oh hey and by the way I'd like to ask everyone reading this to go and see my latest entry on my house blog. I'm trying to pick out bathroom lighting fixtures and a mirror and I have pictures posted of some of our top choices. I'm definitely looking for some input and with the amount of traffic that my house blog gets, I'm afraid I'll be waiting a long while for any opinions. Also if anyone knows any good stores in France with products like these please let me know. We have to choose everything soon. The bathroom is going to be finished before we know it! *delightful squeal*

It's nice to have family over to visit, but it's also nice to see them leave. ;o)

We just recently bought some light fixtures from IKEA (love that place!!). They had a pretty good selection. Brico Depot is another place that has light fixtures.

My mother said company is like fish--good for you now and then, but after three days, it stinks. But yeah, the whole let me wander off with your screaming demon thing--I can totally relate

I think it's always hard when you have to break from routine, start getting used to something and then have to get back to how it was...

Just enough the lake. Really I miss that so so much, but you already know that. ;-)
