There are two reasons I haven't been writing lately. One is the fact that Mother Nature and France Telecom had a WWF showdown earlier this week and guess who got their spandex wearin' butt kicked? Then guess whose very own building contracter decided to help rewire the fragile lines using brown packing tape? All this left me computerless and phoneless for four days. Tonight at 7:00 an angel knocked on my door from France Telecom. I'm sure he was an angel because he was really tall and he had a funny blue ski hat and he smiled a lot. He wasn't even driving a France Telecom truck. He wasn't even due to fix the lines until tomorrow afternoon. Most women living alone with a small child wouldn't let a strange man like this inside their home but I practically hugged him.
I'm sure he was an angel because he winked at me afterwards and said "oh la la this is going to cost you a lot madame!" and then he laughed. He meant the house call for the duct tape repairs. I wouldn't get charged. He made a joke. He smiled. He fixed my phone and internet at the eleventh hour on Thanksgving Day. I got to call my mom and tell her how much I missed her. He had to be an angel.
I believe in angels.
Things are very difficult here right now. That's the other reason I haven't been writing here. I can't get past my brain's buzzing to write about much of anything. I'm not happy about the feelings I'm having. I just can't control them.
I just wanted to write that about the angels though. I believe in angels don't you?

I believe in guardian angels and their touch at just the right moment.
I am glad that he was able to make your Thanksgiving a little bit brighter.
I hope you feel better soon. Keep your chin up!
Thank you both.
An angel in France? I guess there are a few here and there. It is really great to be rescued and get things working.
