Okay I don't know what happend last night but the temperature has suddenly plummeted and I didn't realize it until I went to get some hot water from the tap and had to wait for about a full minute as the icy water ran out. I glanced up at my atomic clock and noticed the temperature outside was 2 celcius, and that was just on the front terrace. Ouch! That sure was a change from last week's 15 degrees of sun and fun. No wonder the cats were sleeping so close to me last night, one curled up at my head and one at my feet.
Yesterday the temps were sliding though and it was starting to get pretty cold. I was positively frozen at the market and went through all the stalls in about 30 mintes. I made this video when I got back home so I could share all my goodies with everyone and also practice my editing skills. This video also stars my cat Milly, you know the one I'm always losing track of. She was really loving that all the market food was there on the table for her to sniff. Meow!

So Cute! The yogurt looks so yummy. I wish we had someone like that at our market. I do buy yogurt at the market but not from the producer themselves. We pretty much buy the same things, eggs, leeks, cheese. We don't eat very much meat so it is not a regular for us but every once in awhile I pick something up like "chair" or ham.
We haven't been getting much at the market lately because we have been getting all of our fruits and vegetable from le campanier - www.campanier.com - seasonal, organic fruits and veggies directly from the producer. We have been getting some fun things and some things that I normally wouldn't buy.
I love your little video! Thanks for sharing!
I'm glad you liked it. Le Camapanier concept seems really interesting. Thanks for the tip. I'm going to investigate it more.
LOL - I loved it too. It's so funny to laugh and watch. But oh how much I miss finding that stuff!!!
This weather is not easy to handle when you come from Florida! Two years of living here and I am still not used to it. Right now, I have about 3 layers of clothing on and I am still cold!
Liked the video too! I haven't bought any fresh produce at any of the little markets, but it looks like you got some good stuff.
Such a great idea that video! My little camera doesn't have audio so I can't do that. :O(
You are very good to shop at the market - I never do, except on Saturday to get our roast chicken and tatties for lunch. I am an Auchan/Cora girl at heart.
Wendy! Where did you come from? I was wondering where you were!
Oh I have been here there and everywhere...been a rough time recently but am rallying nicely!
Am in London right now and cannot sleep - hence midnight blogging - but will be home on Tuesday and back in to check out les recettes de volailles...:O)
