Christmas at home again

I finally got a cable for my camera. When Seb gave me my gift, an IPod, I was excited and all but positively delighted to discover that the cable for it fit my camera too. Whew, photos!

While there are no photos of us at least I can show off my tree and the fireplace. We love sitting in front of both over the holdiays.

We are having a grande old time lounging around in pj's with Little S and eating leftovers from this afternoon's lunch. We stayed home this year meaning that we didn't travel to the north of France to see Seb's family, a grueling nine hour trip! No we invited them this year instead. When we had no takers on our invites we didn't moan and groan. We were a little disappointed but then again there was less to prepare! More time for lounging in pj's! Less people to look after!

We invited our neighbors to eat Christmas lunch with us and the four of us enjoyed talking about the old days in the village. After lunch we impressed them by pulling up YouTube videos of all of their favorite singers and film stars from the 1930's and 40's. They loved it and we're practically drunk with nostalgia. The three bottles of wine helped too.

Little is sick and he isn't the most desired little person to be around this year. There is a horrid and constant whine eminating from the back of his throat. He hates everything and everyone when he's sick. He did like his presents though. He finally understands the concept of opening gifts. Everything under the tree is for ME! Every present I see is mine to open!

ahh, Merry Christmas! Love the tree and hope the Little S feels better. The inlaws were asking about him yesterday and I told them of your future adventures. They all send their love and well wishes for the holidays.

Big Hugs!
