You're so strong willed, above and beyond all that typical toddler business, it goes much deeper than that. I like that about you but I don't know how to handle it sometimes. It overwhelms me, frightens me.

You're so affectionate that you give everyone in the room a goodbye kiss when you leave, not just your teacher. This makes everyone laugh. You just act like it's the most natural thing. Everyone deserves equal affection.

You still don't have any words but I think you will someday. I have decided to stop worrying so much about it. You will speak when you're ready.

You like to cook and you have a bossy chef attitude that I adore. You like to make cakes and soup with me but I have to stand aside while you measure everything. I am clearly the sous-chef.
You miss your dad.
You still torture the cats. They still tolerate you somehow.

You've begun to play and create stories with your toys. Your cars can speak and fly and sometimes you get so involved in this play world you forget where you are.

You like to share. You love to see the delight on someone's face when they get something from you. It gives you pleasure. Sometimes other kids take advantage of this. Sharing, is not a very common trait among toddlers. You don't seem to mind. The pleasure for you is all in the giving.

What a beautiful post.
That was really sweet.
He's a handsome little man!
What a cutie!
You know, Small Boy doesn't hardly talk either. Though he has a small fistful of words, he's far "behind" where he "should" be (whatever that means). I've decided that it's the bilingual thing. And being a boy. Being a bilingual boy. And being physical and energetic and tactile. They sound a lot alike, sometimes, our two little ones.
He's such a cool kids! And so cute, too. And you know what else!? I just found out that you live in exactly the same town as my husband's cousin, so we llight actually get to meet up before you run for the border or when you run back from the border or maybe even not at all ;°)! It's a small world.
