Sweet and lovely

I haven´t posted any pictures of my baby girl lately and she is growing right under our noses faster than you can imagine. She is two months old as of last week and has a wonderful, sugar sweet disposition. She smiles and makes googly eyes at everyone who pokes their face down to check her out, so much so that people are amazed and say "I´ve never seen such a smiley baby!" Seb and are big grumps so we aren´t sure where she gets this from. We have a hard time staying grumpy though when she gives us her goofy, curled lip smiles.

She still sleeps in our bed, tucked in between me and Seb each night. I can feel her little heaving chest keeping rhythym with mine and that always makes it easier for me to fall asleep even if the sleep itself isn´t the best because she wakes at least three times a night for a feed. I wonder though if she wouldn´t be dragging me out of bed and down the hall three times a night for these feeds if she did sleep in her own room. Co-sleeping is just easier the first three months.

I´m probably enjoying motherhood much more this time around. I´m not so nervous about doing the wrong thing or uptight about letting her cry for a few minutes. I was a basket case with Little S and I refused to ever let him cry for fear that he´d think I´d abandoned him. Second babies are very good for teaching the priciples of zen...just let go of the branch and drift down the river with the current!

Wow, what a cutie and she´s getting so big!

I definitely agree on the second child thing. I am so much more relaxed this time around.
