It snowed yesterday in la région parisienne and our back yard started looking a lot like the Playmobil advent calendar we have sitting on top of our giant 1980's tv . The first snow is so exciting isn't it.

Leon was so excited after school yesterday because of the snow, it snowed during the lunch break so he had a ball. Wet, cold but so happy. I was more worried about driving home from work to pick him up on the icy roads. Driving in the dark and on icy roads is my idea of a nightmare.
Today here east of Paris in the Seine et Marne it's already gone !

Yes, its so exciting! We've had our first real snow that's hung around down here this year today and its more than I've ever seen in Annecy - its really pretty!
