I seem to remember this from a theiving episode a long time ago, first you notice something big missing like a car for example and then slowly other things pop up missing. It seems our window friends weren't just installing windows but pocketing DVDs and jewelry the whole while. All the things I've been noticing missing were right near the windows that they installed. Seb has been really skeptical about it being them but even he couldn't ignore that it was someone pretty spiteful who tore out a whole wall of electrical cables leading from the kitchen to the upstairs, right next to the new kitchen window where my spare keys were last seen.
I'm really angry, mostly at myself for trusting them in my house and being so stupid as to let them near my things alone. How could I be so dumb?
They STILL have to come back and finish their work because they have the iron grill work on our windows in their depot and they owe us a pricey window that we know if we jump into litigation we will never get. I just want them out of our house and out of our lives.

It seems so obvious who the thieves are, I can't believe the police don't arrest them.
The police don't seem to care. There's so much crime that they just want to get this one processed and move on to the next one, or at least that's how I feel. It makes it so easy for guys like this to get away with what they did.
I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I've been robbed and had my car broken into and it's hard to get past the feeling of being violated. I hope that 2010 will be better for you.

ohhhhh, this is rotten. so sorry you're having to allow this into your life right now.
I hope the last visit is quick and to the point. And you're not stupid - you actually believed these guys were there to do a job. I guess crime isn't just a Florida thing :(
Ugh! So skeevy. I hope they finish quickly and are out of the house for good.
I am sooo sorry you are going through this! You should set up cameras to catch them in action.
