Snow, finally!

We woke up to a delicious blanket of snow covering our little village and erie gray skies. It was Wednesday and our day to go to baby gym class, not a good day for walking up the steep hill that leads to town. We decided to take the funicular so we wouldn't end up falling flat on our faces.

When we got to class we were nearly the only ones. Everyone either slept in, got snowed in or stayed home to play in the snow. We had the giant trampoline all to ourselves!

Later when we got home we took a grand tour in the little blue sled along the boardwalk by the lake. Lots of kids were building snowmen and having snowball fights. We weren't the only ones taking a walk by the lake in a sled!

Back home now we're sipping our chocolats chauds and trying to imagine how much more snow we might get tomorrow!

The chocolat chaud and snow sound delicious. I am glad you and the little one had a nice time at the gymnasium.

yeah! Those are beautiful pics and bring back the memories of Montreux and snow during this time of year. Every go sledding down a hill? Little 2 year olds love this if you can use a bobsled and fit them in front.. I did it for the first time up at les avants and fell in love with it!

No more snow. My boys are disgusted. I have water everywhere - they sneakily put a box of snow in their bedroom. Gah!

Kim that reminds of Monster's Inc. and the Adominable Snowman's yellow snowcones. I love that part. "They're LEMON flavored!"
