Eight days in bloom: 4

Alto and smell the flowers.

Growing at the exit of our housing division here nestled in a road divider in Mexico, lovely yellow daisies in a hurricane flurry of passing trucks.

I took over 100 pictures yesterday, odd since I started out the day unmotivated and rundown. There´s something about Seb finally being home that has made me finally let down my energy guard and be tired. So yesterday I didn't really explore anywhere and didn´t even start shooting until 4 o'clock thinking maybe I´d even skip a day. "Ugh bad light is all you have at four!" I said as I headed out to the park with Little S to meet up with Sara. And yet with many excuses to my friend for running off to shoot what to her must have looked like insects or weeds, I ended up with some of my favorite photos so far and some hard choices to make for my photo of the day. Isn´t it funny how that works sometimes?

I hope I'll be as "unmotivated" tomorrow. I'm halfway through my eight days of flower hunting.
