Yesterday the skies were gray and it poured rain nearly all afternoon. Mexican's act like cats in the rain, dashing and hiding --a definite felinesque malcontent with damp and balmy weather. The streets were empty, the usually festive atmosphere of the weekend gone.
Today the rain is still here. The flowers seem sad, even the lovely neon colored bougainvillea, and suddenly my project doesn't look as appealing, boo-hoo.

I don't agree... I LOVE your picture. It's sooo beautiful and melancholic. I like how there's a hint of the sun behind the grey clouds that foresees a sunny day that is sure to follow the rain. What's more optimistic and lovelier than that?
Fned.
I'm spoiled like all the Mexicans. :) Where's my sun!
